Dust Off the Ground

The task was daunting when we first arrived,
A classroom that was full of years of grime.
We looked around us, not sure where to start
And soon our minds were filled with dread and fear.
But the task was important and we knew we had to try,
So we got to work and started to wax and scrub.
The piles of dust and dirt were soon wiped away,
And the room began to look at more bright.
We moved furnitures, scrub the floors and clean the wall,
The room was looking better in no time at all.
Washed the carpets and emptied the bins,
The room was beginning to take shape again.
The windows were opened and the air was fresh and clean,
The room was looking like it was brand new.
We put the furnitures back in it's place,
Mission accomplished and we had done all we could.
We sat and looked in awe at what we had achieved,
It was unforgettable experience indeed.
We had to worked as a team and clean the room from top to bottom.
And we were proud of the results of our hardwork.
